a quick update in japan

A quick update during my travel, here is a character i did while i am travel in Japan.
a character i got inspired in Japan. Travel to Japan and see so many character design and illustration in this land and
I feel like to work on some design too, it was a mushroom in the AD…and I am looking at that mushroom character and think…what would i do with that shape? anyway, here is one character sketch. a quick update for my travel time.

recolor

I have to admit, color is not my strongest suit, but i am willing to make it better. so the first step I am taking is to recolor the work I have done and see if I can make the color better in order to research a better finish level.
So here are the work I have done and hope you like them, any feed back is welcome .

morning warm up sketch for character design

I am recently using a iphone app called character shuffle. its very interesting to come up with many different idea for character design. i use it as my morning warm up to get my brain fire up about design .
i will spend 30 mins on one idea and move on. here is one of the idea i did .

my sketch book update

i know i have not update a lot, trust me, it is not me be lazy but there are work i have to finish first, and some of work i am not allow to show so …hope that you like more sketch book stuff.
